About Me

Barbara's Appalachian Treasures: I grew up on L.I. and I miss the ocean but enjoy my annual visits home to enjoy family and the beach. I currently live on 48 acres in the Bule Ridge Mtns. of Va. with my husband and two dogs. We are emptynesters with 4 grown children 3 are married and 3 grandchildren and one on the way due in March. I work full time as a home health nurse, and I am looking forward to retiring in about 3-4 yrs. Hopefully the time will fly. I am setting up another blog because I had to change my email and so I just changed everything out. I have an etsy shop barbarasnook@etsy.com and sell a vareity of handmade items.
